Lady SOUTHWARD Obituary
Lady Vera Thelma:
Passed away peacefully at Kena Kena Rest Home, Paraparaumu on Wednesday, 15 February 2017. In her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Sir Len Southward. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Stan & the late Nancy Bellamore, and the late Maude, Lillian, Arthur and Ken and families. An especially loved Aunty Vera to Sue & Bernie Beissel, and John & Amber Bellamore, and a much loved great-aunt and great-great-aunt. Remembered by Roy (dec) and John Southward and families. Special thanks to Heather and Barbara and staff at Kena Kena for their love and care of Aunty. A celebration of Vera's long life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Monday 20 February 2017 at 11.00am, thereafter private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Life Flight Trust would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Tributes may be left at www.heavenaddress.com

Lady Vera was an absolute pleasure to visit. I worked with her and Enliven and covered carers during absences. We always enjoyed a laugh, cup of tea and each others company whilst doing the chores. RIP Lady Vera and hope you find your beloved Sir Len soon. - Lynley

I will always remember visiting you and Uncle Len with Mum and Dad in the xmas holidays and going swimming in your pool they are such happy memories.
