(Lieutenant. Commander Royal Navy retired). Died suddenly at home on 16 May 2023. Beloved husband of Freda, great father to Jane and Richard. A service for Ken will be held at Devonport Methodist Church, Owens Road, Devonport, on Wednesday, 24 May, at 2.00pm.

My name is Ronnie Thompson. Unfortunately I've only just found this post. I wanted to say that this great man had a fundamental influence on my life. As a young Glasgow lad struggling for a way ahead he gave me so much trust provided amazing advice and mentoring that resulted in my career in the Royal Navy flying Lynx helicopters. A great man who was in that navy recruiting centre in Glasgow was pure fate
