Suddenly, but peacefully, on Friday 8 March 2024. Dearly beloved husband of Robyn. Father and father-in-law of Nathan and Kylie, and the late Aroha. Papa of Gina. Proud Koro of Jackson, Trinity, Kasey, Maia, Tane, Nathan and Jack. Son of the late Kia and Merihana Ormsby, son-in-law of the late Ngaire and Jack Young. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Britannia Street, Petone, on Wednesday 13 March at 11.00am. Messages for the Ormsby Family can be sent c/- PO Box 30-127, Lower Hutt 5040.

Brazil, the muso, guitar player for the Sacred heart parish Maori community.
I remember him as a very gracious and obliging person who support the small Catholic Maori community.
my sympathy to Robyn and family and the Catholic Maori community who will greatly miss him.
May rest in peace.
I will remember him and all the whanau at Mass
tomorrow.

Dearest Robbie and family -
So sad to hear this news of your loss. I know you would have been knocked for a six, but very glad to hear Sandra and Jenny were close by for you.
Baz was a beautiful man, and a proud Husband, Dad, Papa and Koro.
You were so lucky to have so many great years, and you said last year was such a highlight with your overseas trip together - what wonderful memories!
