GOVIND, Kayla Tanisha:
Peacefully passed away on Friday, 21st May aged 17 years at home with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Kayla showed incredible strength and courage, well beyond her years and more than anyone could have expected, she fought so hard for so long. Precious and most loved daughter of Mohan and Sunita. Adored niece, sister, cousin, masi and friend of many. A very special thank you to the staff at Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington Hospital, Wellington District Nurses and all those that helped care for our precious Kayla. Visitors are welcome at the following times. Monday and Wednesday 5-7pm at 111 Darlington Road, Miramar. In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice www.marypotter.org.nz and Make A Wish NZ – www.makeawish.org.nz would be appreciated. Messages to the family may be left in Kayla's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- P O Box 7123, Wellington 6242 The Funeral Service will be held at Bharat Bhavan (Indian Cultural Centre) Kemp Street, Kilbirnie on Tuesday, 25th May 11.00am followed by a private cremation. You may pay your respects from 10.30am to 11.00am.
