So sad to hear of this terrible news, working with you was a pleasure. Such a wonderful and beautiful person taken too early RIP Kathryn

Kathryn and I worked together at Ara. If she wasn't busy climbing enough stairs to scale Mt Everest, she was raising money and organising events for various charities. She wore her heart on her sleeve. It was an honour to know her. Condolences to Rodney and whanau. The world is a lesser place without the bright light of Kathryn.

I was very saddened to hear about Kathryn's death. My condolences to Rodney & all of her family. I hadn't seen Kathryn in recent years but always kept up to date through Facebook & her Xmas letters she sent out. I was fortunate to have been Kathryn' s bridesmaid which was a very special day. She was a truly lovely person. My love goes out to all her family.

I was shocked to hear of Kathryn's death. My condolences to Rodney and all of her family.I was privileged to know Kathryn through our involvement in athletics officiating. It was great to catch up with her over the years as we officiated at various levels of competition in Australia, the Oceania Region and the Commonwealth Games. She was a lovely person who was always great to work with and will be missed by all who knew her.

So sad to hear of Kathryn´s tragic death. Such a dedicated worker for NZ athletics officials.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Kathryn. My sincere condolences to Rodney and her family. Although we hadn't seen each other in years we were FB friends and I enjoyed seeing what she had been up to. I used to enjoy receiving Kathryn's lovely newsy Christmas letters in years gone by and I will always remember her laugh from our work days in the late 80s. x

Kathryn was a well known, loved and respected official at Australian athletics events over many years. Her loss has saddened us all.

Kathryn was an amazing kaimahi/colleague with a great attitude and an incredible work ethic. She will be sorely missed from Ara Te Pukenga. Rest in peace, Kathryn. Thank you to the whanau for coming to Te Puna Wanaka last Friday for karakia.

My beautiful friend, my scrapbooking sista. Taken too soon. Will miss you so much. So lucky we had the weekend together at Raincliff and scrapbooking together before this tragedy. You were such an amazing person, a heart of gold .... till we meet again.

I had the pleasure of sharing a room with Kathryn at the Australian Championships one year and she was a very pleasant easy going companion. I have looked forward to catching up with her at athletic events over the years.

Thoughts are with Kathryn's family at this very sad time. I hadn't known her very long but we met through our shared love of crafting and the colour purple. I am comforted to know that Kathryn's last weekend on earth was at a Scrapbooking Retreat. What a wonderful time we had so much fun and friendship and laughter.

Thoughts are with all of Kathryn´s family and friends (especially those from Athletics community). Spending today reflecting on the times we shared and her caring spirit.
