MANUEL, 'Kana' Tuakana
Taringaroa Tangipo:
On 17th June 2023 peacefully at Kenepuru Hospital, aged 77 years. Son of the late Ihaka and the late Hera Taukamo. Dearly loved brother of Joyce & Valerie, Raiha, David, Mereaira and Titihuia and the late Joey, Hona, Ngawhira, Tangiawha and Percy. Dearly loved husband of the late Janet Ngaia-Koni. Father of Deanne & Steven, Michael, Petera. Cherished Koro of Joshua, Taylah, Chardae, Keanu, Oscar & Jethro. Loved partner of Lorraine Brennan. Messages to the 'Manuel family' may be left in Kana's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241. A service for Kana will be held at the Newtown Bowling Club, 303 Mansfield Road, Newtown, on Thursday 22nd June at 11.00am, thereafter a burial at Makara Cemetery at 2.00pm.
