Passed peacefully at home on Thursday 30th May 2024, aged 93, surrounded by her loving whanau. Beloved wife and eternal companion of Bill Katene; mother of Merania, Selwyn, Maraea, Kerehoma, Makea, William, Kayleen,Willis and many adored mokopuna. Mum will be taken to Takapuwahia Marae, at 4pm Friday afternoon. A church service will be held at the LDS Chapel, Takapuwahia, at 11.00am Monday 3rd June. She will buried with her husband and daughters at the urupa.
