ERICSON, June Morita:
June Ericson passed away peacefully in her sleep in Lower Hutt on 20 March 2023, aged 95 years. June was the loving wife of the late Fred, and dearly loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Deborah and the late Kevin Hislop, and Arlene and Phil Wheelans. She was cherished Grandma Junie to Richard and Juliet, Rebecca and Costa, Meredith and James, Jacqui and Kyle, and Harry and Anna, and adored Great-Grammy Junie to Andrew, Mary, Heidi, George, Sofia, Marcus, Fred, Otto, Rudy and Juno. In accordance with June's wishes, a private family celebration of her life has been held. The family wish to give special thanks to Ropata Village Lodge and Riverleigh Rest Home for the love and care they gave to June in her final years.
