Jonathan Alexander (Jono):
On February 1, 2021, peacefully at Wellington Hospital with family and friends at his side, aged 42 years. Dearly devoted husband of Melissa (Mel). Much loved father of Ashleigh (Ash). Treasured son of Victoria and younger brother of Richard. Beloved son of Ma & Pa (Andie and Brendan), and big bro to Cins. Cherished (and self-proclaimed favourite) son-in-law of Pam and the late Alan Gill. Loved brother-in-law of Kirsten and Alex, Anna and Liam, and Sheree, and adored and worshipped uncle of Eva, Lachie, Lily, Lucy, Ryan, Neve, Chase, Toby, Sophie, Ava, and Charlotte. Best friend to Rob and Sasha, Tama and Ange and an infinite number of others, too many to mention. Special thanks to the medical and nursing staff in the ICU at Wellington Hospital for their loving care shown to Jono and family. In lieu of flowers, donations to Peke Waihanga Artificial Limb Service (Wellington) would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A funeral service for Jono will be held in Ss Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, Knights Road, Lower Hutt, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 10.00am, thereafter private cremation at Akatarawa.
