Passed away peacefully at Mary Doyle Trust Life Care Complex, Havelock North, on Wednesday, 9th June 2021. Dearly loved husband of Jane, and much loved Dad of Rebecca and Andrew, and his six grandchildren. As per John's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. John, you left a legacy of inclusiveness,kindness,thoughtfulness,friendliness and chatter. These great quilities were yours, and will continue on through Rebecca, Andrew and your six amazing grandchildren: Lexi, Millie, Isla, Rayne, Cruz and Hahn.
If I could have said one last thing to you it would have been this. 'Let down the
facade, dig deep find your true self, and just be happy with who you are'. You had a huge heart full of compassion and would go out of your way to be helpful and caring to others. You were worthy!!
