Of Otaki. Regt. No. 569194, 16 Field Regt. Korea
Passed away at Ocean View Residential Care, Otaki Beach on Thursday August 11, 2016, aged 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Zena Meretini Moeau (nee Cook) for 58 years. Loved Dad and father in law of Pare & Ken, Anaru, Iriapa (dec) & Sarah, Michael & Donna, Winiata (dec), and Apihai & Shirelle. Loving Gandpi of his 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Loved brother, brother in law and Uncle to all. Many thanks to the nursing staff at Ocean View Residential Care for their excellent care of Dad. A service for John will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church, Convent Rd, Otaki on Sunday August 14, 2016 at 1.00pm followed by interment at Rangiatea Urupa. Our Hound Dog John is lying in state at Tainui Marae, Convent Rd, Otaki. Haere atu ra e pa ki o tatou tipuna o Ngati Kahungunu ki Wairoa.
