Passed away peacefully at the Levin Home for War Veterans on Wednesday 30th March 2022, aged 97 years. Dearly beloved husband of Pauline and the late Valerie. Loving father of Jill, Susan and Michael. Grandfather of his five grandchildren and great-grandfather of his 10 great-grandchildren. Many thanks to the management and staff of the Levin Home for War Veterans for their care of John whilst he was a resident at the home. A service for John will be held at Harvey's Chapel, 284 Oxford Street, Levin, on Tuesday 12th April at 2.00pm. Messages c/- 26/91 Mako Mako Road, Levin 5510.

My uncle John was a big tease. He had devilish humour, a great sense of adventure and his love for Pauline and Susan and Jill and michael. I will always remember his whippy mg coupe, his yacht Moonraker and his varied careers. Glad you are now at peace. Marion and Suzanne are there too. Xxxxx
