Born Wellington, January 22nd, 1947. Passed away suddenly but peacefully on September 11th, 2021. Survived by Elva, loved wife of 53 years. Loved son and son-in-law of Betty and Wallis Jamieson, and Frank and Alma Legg (All Dec). Loved brother and brother-in-law of David and Josie (Perth), Anne and Glenn Baker (Whakatane), Paul and Moira (Wellington), Tony and Colleen Legg (Taupo), and Beverley Legg and Richard Whiteman (Toronto). Adored father and father-in-law of Alistair (Waikanae), and Gordon & Lilly (London). Treasured Pop to his grandchildren Anna and Samuel (Wellington). No flowers please by request. A private cremation has been held. Details of Memorial Service to celebrate John's life to be advised later.
