DAWSON, John Leslie:
Age 91. Much loved; Husband to Leonie, father to Errol, Marie and Wayne, second father to Ngaire, Neil and Phil, and valued friend to many more. Memorial service will be held at 28 Dell Road, Raumati South, Kapiti Coast, at 1.00pm, 12th January, followed by a small ashes-scattering ceremony shortly after, at a location to be advised. Dear Leonie,
Sorry to hear that John (JD) has passed away. He reached a remarkable age. I have good memories of visiting you both and enjoyed my time working alongside him. It was never a dull moment with his dry sense of humour and his quick wit. He was very much the oracle of the bitumen industry where I´m sure he will not be forgotten. A true gentleman. My sincere condolences.
