John BISS Obituary
On 25 June 2022 at home in Waipukurau, peacefully, surrounded by family after a determined battle with cancer. Aged 66. Much loved husband of Sally, father and father-in-law of Will and Grainne, Sarah and Jackson, Anna and Jack and Nicola, Pa of Max and Rosie, brother and brother-in-law of Angie, Jenny and Sally and Michael. A loved uncle, cousin, and good friend to many. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at St Andrew's Church, Waipukurau at 2pm Wednesday 29 June 2022. John's family would like to thank the medical teams in Hastings and CHB for their outstanding care of John. Messages to the Biss Family c/o PO Box 200, Waipukurau 4242.

A friend in New Zealand called me yesterday and told me of John passing, .. it had been a very long time since we had seen one another or spoken, ..[not that he was a great talker :-) ] Australia has been my home for the 40 odd years .. but there is still always that connection to old friends and home .. my thoughts are with you Sally and your children, and John sisters Angie, Jenny & Sally [Mick Pettit - email: [email protected] ]
