Oh My! Such sad news. When I did not hear from Joan during or after the holidays; I became concerned. I had sent an ecard, and then an email. My husband just Googled Joan Flowers and I now know why; What a very sad shock. Greg and Adam, I have known you, and have heard about the Granddaughters many times. She was so very proud of all of you! Joan and I were pen pals since ages 11 Years! I visited Joan and Rex in the early 70's, and they visited me in AZ a few years ago; we laughed a lot. She sat down at the grand piano in the lobby of our Musical Instrument Museum and played beautifully for everyone there. Your lovely Joan sent me photos and kept me up with the activities, achievements, and adventures of all of her family. Nadia, do you remember helping out with "Flat Stanley"? I am so sorry that your very special, a beautiful lady, loving mother and grandmother has passed. I know she left a big hole in all of your lives. Sending you my love and sympathy.
