Beloved wife of the late Steve. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Lawrence (deceased) and Susan, Greg and Therese McGroder (Sydney). Andrew and Sally, Steve and Mary-Liz, Brendan and Kahoa, Sean and Angela. Loved and adored by her grandchildren, Bridhe, Ted, Dan (deceased) , Samuel, Pierce, Thomas, Joseph, Michael, Damian, Makeleta, Sela, Anna, Joan, Mathew, Jacob, Isabel, William, and Alex, and great-grandchildren, Ruby, Harry, Poppy, George, Hector, Isabella, Theo, Lucy, James, Rian, Brendan, Kalia, Otis, Alexandra, Charlotte and Beatrix.
A gentle gracious lady, much loved and respected by her family, her friends and all those whose lives she touched. Forever in our hearts. Special thanks to the staff at the Sands Browns Bay for their care of Joan.
Requiem Mass for Joan will be celebrated at St Joseph's Church, Taharoto Road, entrance 10 Dominion Street, Takapuna, on Wednesday, April 7th at 11.00am, followed by a burial. To view the service live
