I got to know Jenny quite well, mainly through St Mark's, but also through the Medical Centre. I had to visit her once a month for six months to have a wasp desensitization injection. She is one of those people who one never forgets, and I was absolutely devastated to learn of her horrible death - been in the UK. You are in a much better place now Jenny. I can still see you talking about how to pray the Lord's Prayer...

Unfortunately I can't be there to say goodbye Jenny. I have fond memories of our friendship at Primary School and College. I won't forget that. Have a safe journey.

Ka aroha. Thank you Jenny for looking after our whanau when our babies were small. You loving approach was enormous and we knew we were in good hands when we visited the medical centre. Over the years you always showed an interest in what we were up to. Officiating at Nana Dot's funeral was also a special time. Blessings to your whanau at this very sad time. I was tremendously shocked and saddened to hear of Jenny's tragic passing. The Carterton community have lost a strong, compassionate woman. She's someone I remember well from my childhood in the Wairarapa and was amongst the people who encouraged me to go nursing. I'm sure Mum will meet her in heaven.

So saddening- Jenny was one of Natures beautiful people.
From Wairarapa College days and all the years after, until I moved to the Bay of Plenty we enjoyed Jenny's company- a happy place to visit.

Tragic news. I was at Upper Hutt School with Jenny 70 years ago, and remember her well ! Lost track of her all those middle years of life, but managed to meet her again last year. So glad I did - she was a lovely lady living a life of service.
