Jennette McCAW Obituary

Jen died on 10 January, aged 90. Mother and mother-in-law of Deborah Battell & Derek Wallace, Susan & Ansgar Ehses, and Peter Battell; wife of Malcolm McCaw (dec) and Brian Battell (dec). Gran of Henry & Oscar Battell-Wallace; Jamie & Simon Bennett; Jan Lukas and Hannah Ehses; William, Isabella & Lilly Battell; and great-grandchildren Cosmo, Raffy, Lotta & Monty Bennett. She was a force of nature and battler to the end who always did her best for her family and friends. She was also an enthusiastic fisher, artist, gardener, traveller, fundraiser/organiser, tennis, bridge & golf player, and friend/host to many. Grateful thanks to BUPA Whitby staff for their extraordinarily respectful and loving care. Our family will celebrate her life at the bach she so loved.
