Jean MACDONALD Obituary
Peacefully at Sevenoaks Retirement Village on 8 January 2023, in her 97th year. Loved mother of Heather, Alan and Neil; loved grandmother and great-grandmother. A service to celebrate her life will be held in the Kapiti Districts Aero Club, 25 Dakota Road, Paraparaumu, on Thursday 12 January at 12 Noon. I worked at Sevenoaks Retirement Village briefly in 2021 and Jean was my favorite person to see everyday at work. I still have drawings she did for me of what we called "abstract flowers". I missed her so much recently, that today I decided to google her name to see if anything about her has been posted recently. Unfortunately the first thing to pop up was the news of jeans passing. From what I was told, she lived a great life and although I was only in her life briefly, I'm glad to have known her at all.
