Jane HARPER Obituary
Peacefully on 25th September 2022 at home. Very much loved partner and best friend of Marshall. Loved daughter of George and Isabella Harper. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Gavin and Gail, Ross and Lyn, Helen, Mark (deceased) and Caroline, and Paul (deceased). Loved Aunty to all of her nieces and nephews. Jane and Marshall wish to thank all of their wonderful friends who have supported Jane throughout her journey. They also wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at The Mary Potter Hospice for their amazing care of Jane during this time. Messages for the family may be left in her online tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- 4 Moorefield Rd, Johnsonville. A Service to celebrate Jane's life will be held at The Harbour City Funeral Home Chapel, 665 High Street, Lower Hutt, at 11.00am, on Saturday 1st October 2022 and thereafter followed by private cremation.

You were the Best Teacher for Me Miss Harper at Belmont school,you always gave Me the time of day and I loved how you taught Me to be great At Maths . I´m Now year 10 at Upper Hutt college and I always think of you whenever I do maths that I actually sat a yr 11 maths quiz when I was yr 9 because my maths teacher told me I´m really smart and could help some year 11. I told him it was because of you xx You Also Never judged Me and always gave me the time of day or genuinely Just spent so much time with me inside and outside the classroom ,even asking my mum about me when I left Belmont school in 2019 . Your Legacy Is beyond Beautiful. You´re the Teacher that And will always Make an Impact In My Life . I thank you for Everything Miss Harper.

Though it had been a long time now since I spoke to, let alone saw her, Jane was always someone who made the world a better place, richer and more vibrant. From afar I hope she finds the safe travels and rich fields far from the travails she had known in recent times.
