James MCKINLAY Obituary
Peacefully at Summerset Falls Care Centre Warkworth on Monday 27th November 2023; aged 91 years. Much loved husband of the late Laura. Loved father of Bruce and Dinah, and Joanne and Glenn, and loved grandfather of Tess and Erana; and Scott and Helen. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at Jason Morrison Funerals, 24 Whitaker Road, Warkworth, on Tuesday, 5th December at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. Jim's family wish to thank the staff at Summerset Falls "for their dedication and kindness in their care of our father." On behalf of the known 34 surviving members of Jim's 1961 Form 2 class we say thanks Jim for being such a great teacher. All I have spoken to acknowledge you as being one of the best teachers we ever had, and we will certainly be raising a glass to your memory when we have our class reunion in 2024 in conjunction with the 80th anniversary of Balmoral Intermediate School.
