Formerly of NZ Fire Service, aged 91 years young. A small service for Jim will be held at the Kapiti Crematorium Chapel in the grounds of Awa Tapu Cemetery, Valley Road, Paraparaumu on Monday 20 June 2022 at 2.00pm.

Jimmy was my SO at Brooklyn for many years. A nicer man I´ve yet to meet. I am glad to have served with him. He presented such a kind and human face to authority. His brand of leadership was a welcome change for me there and, I´m sure, contributed to my length of stay in `the job´. Farewell brother.
