HANNA, James Merle (Jim):
BUC James Hanna, United States Seabees. Of Whitby. Passed suddenly at home on Monday 15th May 2017 with his much loved wife and Aunty. Aged 77 years. Dearly loved by wife Wendy, children Richard and Sarah, Holly and Craig. Loving Pa to grandchildren Cam, Becky and Dylan. Will be missed by brother-in-law Peter and family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be left at the service or online at www.cancernz.org.nz or sent to 52 Riddiford Street, Newtown, Wellington 6021. A funeral service to celebrate Jim's life will be held in St Mary's Anglican Church, 69 Discovery Drive, Whitby, on Friday 19th May at 1.00pm. Thereafter interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery. Messages can be sent to "The Family of Jim Hanna" c/- PO Box 50-347, Porirua 5240.

Jim was a gentle giant of a man much admired and a rock for his family. He was taken too early and will be sadly missed by us all. With our deepest sympathy to Wendy Richard Holly and the family from the Elliott family Auckland and the UK
