Hello there Ali and family was there for the budding start of your love story as flatmate and friend in Palmerston North. Jamie a Rugby rep and you followed his games. We met over the years as married couples with children in different holiday spots plus your home on the School grounds. It was our early flatting days and lives entwined that hold my strongest memories footy pubs flat parties engagements as poor students and all the fun and promise that those days have us.Your story with Jamie so loving and successful was meant to be. James was a class mate of mine at Heretaunga Intermediate. I remember James as being such a kind, fun and popular young man. It was a pleasure to catch up with him again at a Heretaunga reunion in 2014. I send my sincere condolences to James's family. I was sorry I was unable to travel to New Zealand for the funeral.

So sad to hear of Jamie´s passing. One of the finest gentlemen I had the pleasure of meeting and could only marvel at his sporting background as an outstanding player and knowledgable selector and coach in rugby and cricket at provincial level. My sincere condolences to the family.
