Peter, Tim and families, we were saddened to read of Jim's death, as he has been part of our memories of Waipukurau, going back for so long. What a great contribution he made to life in our hometown. He will be much missed by so many people.

Hello Peter, Sharon and family, so sorry to read of your dad, Jim's passing in the paper. He reached a great age though, so close to that telegram from the Queen. A lifetime working in our industry never seems to prepare us for the loss of someone so close. Jill and I send our condolences to you all and hope the service tomorrow is a fitting tribute to Jim's life of service to Central Hawkes Bay. Regards Ray Walker.

The Hyde family wish to pass on their condolences to the Flemming family at this sad time. We will always be grateful for the kindness and friendship Jim shared with our parents in Holyrood Tce and to us at the passing of our father in 2016. He will be remembered as an icon of the waipukurau community and a key part of a generation who served their community with distinction. Ewan Hyde
He will always be...Uncle Jim to me...But he was not an uncle..
