James COMP Obituary
Suddenly on Monday 21st November 2022, aged 67 years. Beloved husband and soulmate of Lyn for 48 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Barry and Imogen, James and Raylene, Amaria and Hayden, Wiremu, Daniel and Nicole. Loved poppa of his 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Loved brother of his 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Jim will be lying at home between Thursday and Friday. A service will be held on Saturday 26th November 2022 at 1.30pm in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, to be followed by a private cremation.

I am very sad to hear about Jim passing. He was very straight forward but a very kind and warm man. He made such massive contributions to the sport of boxing, especially to boxing in Wanganui and taranaki. I will always have fond memories working with him and he will be very much missed.

I´d just like to acknowledge my sincere condolence´s to Jim´
,and family with his passing,along with my son´s also,who Jim put his time,and support into,including in all area´s for the sport of boxing!,I remember Jim being a super busy man,organising,helping training,year after year,not to mention being a top referee!Thankyou Jim!RIP
