I've known Jim since the 50's. We both grew up in Wishaw and he taught me how to skate. We all missed Jim when the family moved to NZ. I miss your wee jokes emailed every day.

My mother and Jim were cousins and as a child I have fond memories of staying with Auntie Georgina Uncle Ricky Jim Myra and Anne in Wishaw Scotland. So many years ago (1956) and yet I remember his records strewn across the floor and I stood on and broke "I'm all shook up" by Elvis. My mother had a wonderful time visiting Jim and the family in N.Z. and I send much love on behalf of us all and especially to Mandy and Margaret Anne and Ray and Myra and family. You are your families are in my thoughts and prayers Elizabeth xx

Oh my God my old mate of over 45 years has gone and I only found out today.Who is going to send me joke emails now.He was one of my customers when as a young sales rep with Pye NZ Ltd I called on him in the shop in Main St.This store was conveniently placed in line with the CT club and his home. Many fine hours spent discussing the finer points of life over few beers and then on occasion going across the road to his house where his wife Diane would be waiting!! Our family's shared holiday breaks in Taupo,Bay of Islands and Asia.Such a sad occasion today to learn not only Jim's passing but also his son Scott passing in November. Our sincere and deep heart felt condolences to Marg,Mandy and Jim's grandchildren. e tai e noro ra.Calvin and Lea Sandford and family

A friend since I first met him, in my Philips days back in 1979. One of our industry icons, Jim was much loved and I will miss our catch-ups. Go well mate, Merv Robertson.

Our sincere sympathy to the Bulloch family. I met Jim when He first came to Town about 1960 and became friends because of our interest in playing guitars. We used to play at the Kiwi Gym, for a Youth Club run by Johnny Craig from the Regent Theatre. The members of the band were Steve Shaw, Taffy McDonald, Peter Crosby (drums), Jim and I. Jim used to sing songs by Johnny Cash and Elvis. He later formed Jim and The Jets. He will be sadly missed.
