Hi Jacqui, now in heaven with Harlequin. How I loved our half hour conversations, standing at checkin at the airport! Your unconditional support for me at the hardest and most painful time of my life is always remembered, and I have amazing memories of you throughout my years at AirNZ. Remember the story about the blue whale? Say hi to Sherri, and I look forward to sharing moments with you again. Always my role model! Rebecca

Dearest Jacqui
I was deeply saddened to hear of your passing. I have fond memories of our time spent working and socialising together. You and I would stand at the back of the hosting area or helping each other out on the Premium counter discussing food, what we had for lunch or dinner, you always trying to arrange a time we could share our break together. You were always so complimentary telling customers who needed help with ticketing that I could assist them with my exceptional customer service and expertise! You always made me smile as you took your stance - arms folded feet astride like a sentry or you would be standing doing your calf raises up and down on your tippy toes! Sometimes we would go on a wheelchair hunt and have a free sample of slice from Wishbone. I loved hearing your stories about Kippy - what a lucky wee kitty cat she was. You were a wonderful `mumma´ to your treasured fur baby.
You managed to quietly cope with such huge changes - your retirement, covid lockdowns and being confined to your home, luckily with Kippy to keep you company. I treasure the couple of times we managed to meet for a cup of tea after lockdown. I know how difficult these were to arrange, you ever so careful with your health and wellbeing.
Jacqui, may you rest in peace and love. You will always be remembered by me as I celebrate your life on my birthday.
Love from your friend Linda xx

Dearest Jacqui I´m so saddened to hear you have passed I remember all our laughs at counters at Air NZ and the plans how we would fix things my biggest laughs was always staff saying where´s Jacqui gone and I´d always say toilet or a wheelchair pax that didn´t exist then when ya reappeared I´m like so of anyone asks say ya went loo lol.
We would crack up laughing because we didn´t. Actually care what we did or who wanted to know .
We loved our cats you always asked about my family you said how strong I was and wish I was strong like you , but honestly strength Jacqui is what you had fighting a battle turning up for work everyday with a beautiful smile on your face. And staff loved talking with you you won´t ever be forgotten Jacqui and when I´m next back in New Zealand I will visit you where you lay.
Rest now and enjoy laughs with the other staff who are up there waiting for you to arrive to once again talk about work .
Greatest thoughts to all your family Jacqui they lost you and it´s the hardest pain to go through.
Thinking of you always
Love Sandy
