Uncle jack, you were the greatest. Always happy,and the kindest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will always treasure the wonderful memories I have of growing up with your kids and you and aunty Shona,I will never forget the surprise 16th birthday party you put on for me at your house in butler street,it was the best.I loved the gorgeous cafe you took me to when I was in the Gold Coast last, you and Marilyn made my trip so much more special,with plenty of laughs along the way. im so sorry that I could not be at your service today,but I was very much there in spirit,I am sure you will have a ball up there in heaven and be the life of everyone's party as you were on earth,rip my darling uncle xxxxx

Jack that was one of the biggest shocks of our lives,we always thought you were indestructible.45 years of laughter and very rarely tears.I have always said why is it that when people die they become the most amazing people ever,but Jack we don't need to pretend with you as you were and still are.Our thoughts are with all your family.Bob is going to say his goodbyes to you today in Gold Coast,i will say mine on Thursday.Meet you up in the big blue sky one day.love from Bev and Bob
