LUKE, Irene Jean (Jean):
On November 13, 2016, peacefully at Charles Fleming Retirement Village, Waikanae. Aged 95 years. Loved sister of Joyce Morrah (deceased) and her family. Loved aunt of Elspeth Hope-Walker, Janice Swallow, Keren Ritchie and their families. Loved, honoured, admired and a friend to many. Grateful thanks to the rest home carers and nursing staff at Charles Fleming Retirement Village for their care of Jean. No flowers by request but donations in memory of Jean may be sent to the Royal Forrest & Bird Protection Society, PO Box 631, Wellington 6140, or Zealandia, PO Box 9267, Wellington 6141. At Jean's request a private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held in Cedarwood, 17 Parata St, Waikanae, on December 10, 2016, at 1.00pm.
