Ian YOUNG Obituary

On July 12, 2024 unexpectedly at Hutt Hospital, aged 82 years. Precious and much loved husband of Adrienne. Much loved father and father-in-law of James and Kathy, Sarah and Tom Leask, Andrew and Susie. Loved Gpa of Max, Will, and Jack; Goldie (Olivia), and Sam; Harry, and Molly. Missed by his faithful four legged companion Maggie. A service for Ian will be held in St Mary's Anglican Church, 13 Terminus Street, Silverstream, Upper Hutt on Friday July 19, 2024 at 2.00pm and thereafter private cremation at Akatarawa. All messages to the "Young family" c/- PO Box 30 127, Lower Hutt 5040.

Deepest sympathy & condolences at passing of Ian.
I have many happy memories of those days long ago duckshooting at Rotowhero & Ian´s wicked sense of humour. He also looked after our boating insurance for a number of years. Ian was one of life´s unforgettable characters and all who knew him will have fondest
