Ian LACKEY Obituary
Passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024, at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch; in his 87th year. Adored husband of Lou, and very much loved father and friend of Sophie and Dan, Caroline and Sam, and Archie. Loving Pops to Robbie, Jono, and Poppy. A private cremation is being arranged, with a Celebration of Lacks' life on Friday, July 5, at St Mary's Church, Rotherham.

It was quite a shock when my email was answered by Lou telling me the news that Ian had passed away. I can remember him visiting Sydney to catch up with the family for as long as I can remember. Love to his family.

Old friend recalling those fun filled days on the slopes of Ruapehu and happy days at Aorangi Ski Club. Now you are rejoining those old friends, Milburn, Borrin, Spinetto, Dady and Harlen and so many more. What fun we had.
