Of Porirua, formerly of Hokitika. Unexpectedly at home on 27 January 2017, aged 64 years. Adored partner of Jill. Cherished Dad to Candice and Brendon. Devoted Poppa to Wiremu, Phoenix, and Eruera. A celebration of Ian's life will be held at the Norths Rugby Club, 100 Mungavin Avenue, Porirua East, on Wednesday 1 February 2017 at 11.00am, thereafter to Whenua Tapu Cemetery, Airlie Road, Pukerua Bay.

only just found out today that Ian has passed away, cannot really believe it ,I new Ian from my rugby days at porirua park, always saw him around while delivering the mail here in porirua, he would stop and talk for ages with me about rugby,life ,work and his family, always had a good suntan ,going to miss not running in to him, wishing you all the best :GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTON:

You always were one who shocked those who knew you but this is a classic. I will miss you Cliffy, no more cold ones on a Friday on the porch. Fondest memories.
