BRETTELL, Ian Scott:
On June 8, 2018, peacefully at the Home of Compassion, Silverstream, Upper Hutt, aged 79 years. Loved husband of Jeanette, adored and respected father of Erica, Michael and Andrew and their partners Donna, Philip-Marc and Lucy, and grandfather of Lorna, Tessa and Zara. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Sue and Alf Potts and Colleen (deceased) and John Young. Loved by all his nieces and nephews. Ian was a quiet, kind, witty, intelligent, erudite man who will be very much missed by his family and friends. Our deep appreciation to the Home of Compassion for his care over the last eight months. Keeping with family wishes a private cremation has been held. Messages may be posted to "the Brettell family" C/- P.O. Box 30 127, Lower Hutt 5040.
