Passed away peacefully at his home in Rotorua with all of his family at his side on Saturday, 3 February 2018, aged 91 years. Loved husband of the late Marigold; father and father-in-law of Margaret and the late Paul van der Eeze, Rosemarie and Glen Reichardt, Edward and Suzanne Poot, John and Lorraine Poot. Proud granddad to Hamish and Emma, Emma-Jane and Kevin, Gavin and Amy, Tessa, Trevor, Marcus, and Amelia. Great-granddad of William, Thomas and Michael. The funeral service will be held at St John's Anglican Church, Arawata Street, Te Awamutu, on Friday, 9th February 2018 at 11.00am, followed by burial at the Te Awamutu Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Leprosy Mission, or Hospice Rotorua, and these may be left at the service. All communications to the Poot family, PO Box 78, Rotorua 3040.
