Honora PAULIN Obituary
Passed away peacefully after a long illness on Sunday 6 November 2022, aged 50. Beloved wife of Herwig, mother of Rose, eldest daughter of Frank and Jill, sister of Kate, and Monica (dec). Much loved and devoted teacher at Kāpiti College. A service to celebrate Honora's life will be held in Old St Paul's on Friday 11 November at 2.30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Honora's memory to Mary Potter Hospice marypotter.org.nz/support-us/donations. Heartbroken to come across this news today. We were flatmates with Honora in London. Sadly we lost touch in the busyness of life but Honora was never forgotten and often puts a smile on my face when a memory of that special time resurfaces. Rest in peace Honora, you were a special person who put a smile on a lot of faces.

You helped my daughter believe in herself, you encouraged her to aim high, and with that, you have helped her believe she had a future. You will be remembered as being her favourite English teacher. Honora, I will always treasure our friendship, one that started in 1994 at ChCh Teachers' College, throught to NPGHS High School and then onto London. I'll never forget the good times and the laughs we had. Much aroha to you Herwig, Rose, Frank and Jill and Kate and family. Honora you're now reunited with Monica. Rest in love.xx
