Died peacefully at Madison Rest Home, Levin, on 22 August 2023. Loved partner and darling of Raymond Huia Logan (Darkie). Loved youngest daughter of Meretepiki and Rangiahua Williams. Loved mother and Nanny of Craig, Amber and Michelle and Nazmein Ali, Aalihah and Ejazz. Loved sister of Alec, Carol Murray and Henry (dec) and Adelaide Waititi and Bella Moore. Special thanks to Sonia, Sue and all the staff at Madison Rest Home, Levin. Hinga will lie in state at Wehiwehi Marae from Tuesday 22 August 2023 and then to Kawiu Marae on Wednesday where she will lay until Friday 25 August where her ra nehu will be at 11.00am. From there she will be taken to Te Kapa Urupa, Kawiu Road where she will be laid to rest.
