Hilary's death is the end of an era in so many ways. She made many contributions in a number of areas. She was a staunch Woodford House Old Girl.

Cousin Hil was the last of my father's generation to go. She was my wonderful godmother and she made me a little flower girl at her wedding
She set for me an example of the most outstanding values and community spirit imaginable
Her faith was strong so that I can be glad to be sure that she went peacefully.

The staff of Horsewyse would like to extend their sympathies at this time. We enjoyed Hillary's visits and fondly remember her and Kate. Hillary was a wonderful conversationalist and we had many interesting discussions and we will miss the bright infectious woman.

I will always remember Hilary with deep respect. I am proud to have known such a wonderful leader and upstanding person in the community, as well as a wonderful parent and hostess. Our paths have touched through Carncot School, Guiding and family history.
