Peacefully at Nelson Residential Care Centre, Feilding. Husband of Judy for 66 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Peggy and Stephen (Steve) Parsonson (Whangarei), Vivienne Bateman (dec), Michael and Pauline (Palmerston North). Loved grandfather of Hayley, Matthew, and Mark; Zair, Darcy, and Rosie; Alicia, Stefan, and Anna; great-grandfather of Chloe, Reeve, Franchi, Juno, Annaliese, and Charlie. Brother-in-law of John Haines (Tauranga). All messages to the Yates family, C/- 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North 4414. Grateful thanks to all the staff at Nelson Residential Care Centre for their loving care and attention. A private service has been held in the Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel.
