Just read an article about you Hemi to learn you had passed. Well, that knocked me. Such a great awesome laidback guy. Easy to love and your laugh that well makes you laugh. It was a pleasure cooking with you at the plaza and Burbs. I always have fond memories of you and your focus on every plate. Love you and ya work Hemi. Such a beautiful soul and no doubt you will be dearly miss. A very sad loss indeed.

Absolutely shocked to hear of Hemi's passing. Leigh I am so sorry, my deepest condolences. I knew Hemi from years ago when I lived in Turangi and dated his brother Hami. My condolences go out to the Tahu family. Gone far too soon RIP

Hemi. You will be sorely missed my online buddy. I met you while playing that game you and I are addicted to and we made friends over the years plating. I remember when I first started playing and you invited me to be part of your team. That was 6 years ago. I will miss you buddy and I say this for all of NZNC clan that you were commander of and KIWI clan that I run. Leigh you have lost that special man and he will be missed by all.

Hemi, you hated to be dragged out of the kitchen and acknowledged in public for your magic but you deserve all those accolades and so many more.
Sorry I am out of the country and can´t be there to say goodbye in person tomorrow but such a good man will be profoundly missed. Gone too soon. Thinking of you all.

We met Hemi years ago and even though our connection was brief we always remember Hemi as a gentle and warm human being. He had a great sense of humour coupled with the most infectious laugh which made him great fun to be around. Hemi showed much interest in others and always respectful to all.
Much sympathy to all who knew and loved him.

It was with profound sadness that i heard of Hemi's(rameka13) passing. I had known Hemi for a short time, playing a game we both had a passion for. He led his clan with integrity and honour and i will miss his "chur bro's", conversations and battles on the global map. Rest in peace my friend, Ubumpong - KIWI clan
