Tony , i remember you and Helen well when we were fellow patients in Waikato Hospital..happy memories of two special people ,Warm regards Bill..still alive and kicking in Cambridge

Although I hadn't seen Helen for some time, we had been very open and close over coffee catch ups in the past. She was lovely. I'll never forget her. May she rest in the peace she deserves.

You have touched so many with your heart of service and love. Your colourful elegant dress was a true reflection of who you are to us all. May your family & friends delight to know you rest in the joyful presence of the Lord.

We've known Helen for 50 years and saw her only two days before her death. She looked happy, elegant and well and we had a good chat.
We're sorry that, for health reasons, we couldn't attend the memorial service.

Helen was a good friend to my mum, Marion Brace. When my mum had to go into a home MetLife Karori formally sprott House. Helen was the first person to come over and help me to sort out my mums personal clothes and help me to set up her room in Karori. We are both very sad to hear what has happened to such a beautiful person. God bless Helen.

Thank you for all the lovely, heartfelt messages. Mum was loved by many. She was a beautiful person who gave so much time to those she loved. There will be a Memorial Service for mum at The Hope Centre, 4 Downer St, Lower Hutt, at 7pm, on Friday, 16th February for anyone that would like to attend.

I hadn´t known Helen for very long, but loved our chats on her doorstep. She was warm, dignified, loved wearing bright colours, her garden and her family. She seemed to me to be a loyal friend and was highly articulate and interested in the goings-on of her community. Her beautiful smile and bright eyes were always a lovely greeting. My very sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Helen was a beautiful, gentle, caring person and a loyal friend. Our family enjoyed her company at many meals, parties, celebrations and trips away. Helen undertook a significant amount of charity work in a selfless manner. We will always remember her kindness, elegance and infectious laughter. Our sincere condolences to her family.

A lovely lady who was very kind to me when I was a student in my early 20s (a while ago now) and had newly joined her church and home group. So sad to hear about her passing. Sending my deepest sympathy and lots of aroha to her whanau and friends.
