GARDINER, Hawira Willis:
Peacefully in Whanganui Hospital on Tuesday, 6th September 2022, aged 92 years. Loved eldest son of the late Jesse and Tangihaere Gardiner. Much loved husband of the late Maudie. Dearly loved Dad of John
and Janine, Doreen, Derek, Shirley and Allan, Billy, Elaine, Phil and Angelique, Lisa and Robert. Loving Koko of all his mokopuna. Loved brother of Pearl and John, (the late) Pat and Marama, and the late Jesse and Yvonne. Willis is lying in state at Rtana P. his funeral will be held at the P on Friday 9th September 2022 at 11.00am.

Love and thoughts are with all the Gardiner whanau at this sad time. What great memories I have of our great neighbours. I agree with Sue, Mr Gardiner was a true gentleman. Always quietly spoken, but oh so wise. Much aroha to you all xx (Diana Denman)
