Harold Maffey (Harry):
Peacefully, at his home, Dalefield, on Monday 9 May 2022, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret, loved father of Kristen and Glenn with their mother Barbara, loved step-father of James and Chantelle, and a much loved Grandad of William and Georgia. An intimate celebration of Harry's life for family and friends will be held at Rivendell, Dalefield, Queenstown, on Friday 3 June, from 2.30pm. For details please email: [email protected]

Farewell, Haryy - I havn't seen you since I retired from Westpa but you were a huge influence in my life and career. Thanks for all your support and for the great times together on the executive team at Westpac in new Zealand. What great times we had. You were such a down-to-earth leader - you could relate to absolutely anyone and everyone and you were able to recognise people whose skills complemented yours and bring them into your team. You and your team you built transformed banking in our country. Harry, you were always larger than life in every way and I will never forget you.
