HARDIE, Grant Elliott:
On Friday 9th April 2021, peacefully at Shona McFarlane Retirement facility, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Isobel, loved father and father-in-law of Brent and Miria, Craig and Alice, Warren and Hitomi, the late Alison, and Peter and Sam. Much loved Granddad of Nina, Luke, Lilly, Samuel, Matthew, Emily, Ashton and Tessa, and Great-Granddad to Ronnie. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ross and Judy. Special thanks to the staff at Shona McFarlane who have cared for Grant over the past years. Your support has been greatly appreciated. Grant's funeral service will be held at St Paul's Church, Waiwhetu Road, Lower Hutt, on Friday 16th April 2021 at 10.30am and will be followed by a private cremation.

Sorry to hear of your passing Grant. Enjoyed my time with you on the Western Hutt Rd in 1960s as my boss. Also attendance at numerous army courses and exercises.

So. Sorry to hear that Grant has died. He was a wonderful neighbour for many years and we spent many happy times sharing lovely family outings and gatherings. You will be sadly missed Grant. So many valuable memories. With love and respect from the Power Family. RIP
