Graham PLAISTER Obituary

Of Paraparaumu, at home surrounded by his loving family on 16th September 2023, aged 75. Dearly loved husband of Donna and the late Caroline; father & father-in-law of Julia & Mark, Ambrose & Georgiana, Anna & Kevin, Amy & Gavin and Jack & Ornina. Pa of Lachie, Lila, Lucy, Rose, Caroline, Finn, Hugo, Frances, Idris, Willow; brother of David and the late Roderick and man's best friend to Princess and Bella. The family wish to sincerely thank Mary Potter Hospice, Dr Anup George, Coastal Medical Rooms and friends within the community for their support for Graham during this time. In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice at www.marypotter.org.nz would be appreciated. Messages to 'the Plaister family' may be posted c/- PO Box 723 Paraparaumu or placed on Graham's tribute page www.tributes.co.nz. A service to celebrate Graham's life will be held in the Harbour City Funeral Home Chapel, 300 Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu, on Friday 22nd September 2023 at 11.00am. Thereafter private cremation.

I was so privileged to get to know Graham in recent years. He was such good company and so inspiring. And he solved so many problems for me: I think of him fondly and gratefully every time I open my front door, and no longer fear it will collapse on its hinges! And I can now open and close my garden gate with ease! Thank you, Graham, for that and for the entertaining and informative conversations. I am sure you appreciated that fabulous celebration of your life, today. Love and thoughts to all your family and friends, and most especially to you, Donna. Much love from Judith.
