Graeme Wyndham: BDS
Died peacefully just before daybreak on Sunday, 9th May 2021, aged 91, in his treasured home of 57 years at Lowry Bay. Son of the late Grace Millicent and Robert Wyndham Devitt Maxwell, loved brother of the late Janet Shirley Beattie, Margaret Grace Meinecke and Ewan Aitken Maxwell. Loved husband of the late Margaret Ann (née McNeil), adored father of Margaret Jane, Felicity Ann and Charlotte Mary, father-in-law of Simon Lamb and Simon Torr, grandfather of Fergus Carrick Torr, Vera Nessie Summer Rose (Rosebud) Torr, Clara Elsie Rewa Maxwell-Lamb and Rory Harris Maxwell-Lamb. Graeme's family wish to publicly thank the strong and capable care team both in the home and beyond, who helped us carry Graeme through his recent illness with love and support for all. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated either for Forest and Bird Society, Te Omanga Hospice or Dementia New Zealand. A gathering to farewell Graeme and celebrate his wonderful life will be held at the Hutt Valley Tramping Club rooms in Birch Street Reserve, Waterloo, Lower Hutt, on Monday, 17th May at 11.00am, followed by burial at Makara Cemetery.
