Gordon was one of my best friends during my short stint as a pupil at Wellington College 1965-1966. I came across him again briefly in the 1990s, when we were both working on Molesworth street. I was sorry to see, some time ago, that he had died.

I met this man at Whitireia Polytechnic some years back, I was immediately drawn to him, he was funny, easy going, respectful, intelligent and very ethical person. He made a difference to a lot of people in our community, I thank you, Mr Gordon Churchill for the humility you have shown toward myself and many others during my studies.
My deepest condolences to Mrs G Churchill and families, gone but he lives on through his wonderful families.
Until we meet again,

We were so blessed to enjoy the friendship, love and wisdom of this precious man. He was a true example of a mighty man of God. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. We miss you, dear friend. Mal & Rex Evans VMTC NZ.

Saddened to learn of Gordons passing.
He gave so much wisdom and encouragement each time we met from National Service in 1972 through to School Trustees training and on to Alpha and Cursillo.
Rest well my friend.
