Dearest Win, my Stepfather,
I am devastated by your loss and it seems that time is not diminishing the pain. Your love and kindness to our family was limitless and deeply appreciated, I am glad I had the chance to write you about how I felt and your impact on my life before you left us. I hope you rest peacefully in God's arms awaiting the wife of your heart, Dianne.

Grieving an exceptional soul's departure from this life - great loss for all who knew him. "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." ....and so you are now, Win, face to face.

Win, your name stood out in the obituaries and immediately we knew it was you. We are devastated to read of your passing especially seeing how nearby you were. You left Island Bay, and we lost contact, but even 20 years ago you left an impression. You were strong in your faith, and a master in your craft. You leave behind many memories of your work in our family home. We shared many evenings with wine, dinner and deep conversation. You've been sorely missed, and now we'll miss you more. RIP dear friend. The late Arthur will be delighted to see you. Peace be with you now and for eternity.

From the long conversations with George and me across that dinner table, to the forests and mountains that you've wandered about , so till we meet again its nice to know that Our Lord will keep you safe and sound Zyg J

Today you are with your Lord Wyn. You are an artist builder and creator, who sought the Father (creator), and Son Jesus (the carpenter), with all your heart... Now you know no sorrow, carry no burden, and dwell in peace, and in the depth of the love of God. Much love to your family.
