Gloria DOWNEY Obituary
(Late of Foxton Beach) Passed away peacefully at Te Whanau Rest Home, Levin on Sunday 28th June 2020. She was a dear friend to many and will be truly missed. A private service and cremation celebrating Gloria's life has been held. The family wishes to thank the staff of Te Whanau for their loving care of Gloria over the past 2 years. Hi Kick Glor as mum used to say, we were so lucky to have you as Aunty and a dear family friend. Our times at Foxton beach are filled with laughs memories and great food. So sorry to hear of the loss of Gloria. A wonderful person to work with at Community Health for many years. Her contagious laugh will never be forgotten. Great memories of the work BBQs at Foxton Beach too and lots of chats on the phone in latter years. She will be sadly missed, but has enriched the lives of many I'm sure. Rest in Peace Gloria.
